The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce (CCITABEL) is a Belgian non-profit association founded in 1950, legally and financially autonomous. It is part of Assocamerestero, the Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad, made up of 79 Chambers in 56 countries around the world.
The Chamber promotes commercial exchanges between Benelux and Italy as a point of reference for excellence for any company that wants to promote its business and expand its network in both regions, offering a wide range of promotional services, assistance and consultancy. It has carried out activities to support the internationalization of SMEs and the development of innovation within companies, research centers and public bodies.
CCITABEL provides its members with a series of high value-added services related to professional training, the internationalization of companies and the entrepreneurship of young people. The CCITABEL participates, as leader or partner, in various international projects funded by the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Development or other international organizations. It has been and is involved in the realization of projects focused on tourism, professional training, capacity building of NGOs, internationalization and entrepreneurship.
CCITABEL participates and organizes a series of European events, promoted by the European Commission and implemented with international partnerships. During the implementation of the projects several conferences and meetings were organized. The CCITABEL has also actively participated in the PON and POR programs in Italy, focusing in particular on professional training, hosting 16-19 year-old interns and developing training programs for them. In addition, CCITABEL is a host organization of Erasmus + trainees.
CCITABEL is a bilateral organization that works in Italy and Belgium supporting companies and professionals in their development. As a training body, CCITABEL has always promoted the use of digital tools for course participants interested in finding new funding opportunities: the goal of training is not only to teach notions and give immediate solutions, but in reality to provide tools and mentality so that participants can search for the most up-to-date information and continue continuous learning.
CCITABEL collaborates with several universities, local authorities and chambers of commerce across Europe. The staff of the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce has many years of experience in organizing training courses, developing entrepreneurial skills and in the tourism sector.
